Keyshia Cole Signs with New Management
Now that the honeymoon is over , it appears that Keyshia Cole is getting serious about revitalizing her career.
According to entertainment blogger Necole Bitchie , Cole recently announced via Twitter, that former Def Jam president and former Warner Music Group EVP Kevin Liles would be representing her. Liles, an idustry vet who played a big role in the success of Def Jam Records, is credited with turning Trey Songz into a star most recently.
Back in January, Coles let go of long time manager Manny Halley .

Cole's last album, Calling All Hearts , was plagued by poor sales.

It will be interesting to see what becomes of Keyshia Cole now that Liles has taken over her career. Her last two albums have been disappointing, with the latter being bland, uninspiring, and almost a waste of computer memory. Liles helped Trey Songz go from an artist slightly above the radar to a force to be reckon with on urban radio. Will the same happen for Cole? Only time will tell.
